Morning Prep – 6:30 AM
The day starts early in the Florida heat, where every minute counts when people are waiting for their AC services. After checking my service schedule and loading up the van with essential parts and tools, I grab my morning coffee and hit the road before the sun gets too high.
First Call – 8:00 AM
Today’s first stop is in Wellington for an AC repair call. The homeowner reported unusual noises and weak airflow – classic signs of potential problems. After a thorough inspection, I discover a worn fan belt and debris buildup. Quick fixes like these make for grateful customers, especially during our brutal summer months.
Mid-Morning – 10:30 AM
Heading to Palm Beach Gardens for an annual maintenance check. Regular maintenance is crucial for:
- Extending system lifespan
- Improving energy efficiency
- Preventing unexpected breakdowns
- Maintaining healthy air quality
Lunch Break – 12:30 PM
A quick stop in West Palm Beach for lunch and to restock some commonly needed parts from our supplier. The dispatcher calls with an emergency service request in Lake Worth – a complete system failure in the middle of July isn’t something that can wait.
Afternoon Rush – 2:00 PM
After handling the emergency call, it’s off to Royal Palm Beach for a consultation on a new HVAC installation. I love helping homeowners understand their options and finding the perfect system for their needs and budget.
End of Day – 5:30 PM
Wrapping up with paperwork and preparing for tomorrow’s schedule. Being a Bradley Heating & Air Conditioning technician means every day is different, but the satisfaction of helping people stay comfortable in their homes makes it all worthwhile.
The summer heat in South Florida never takes a day off, and neither do we. Tomorrow brings new challenges and opportunities to serve our community, one AC unit at a time.
